China's best science and tech on display for National Day holiday

The China Science and Technology Museum in Beijing is welcoming locals and tourists looking to have fun while they learn about China's cutting-edge scientific and technological development during the National Day holiday.

Inside the four-story museum are exhibitions showcasing development in the country over the past 70 years in sectors ranging from telecommunications, aerospace, deep-sea research, and life sciences.

A full-sized model of the core module of China's space station Tianhe, which made its debut at Airshow China last year, is on display. The construction of the space station in orbit is expected to be completed around 2022.

A 32-foot-tall statue of the Monkey King and the 12 Chinese Zodiac animals are also on display outside the museum.
