Interplanetary adventure film The Space between Us to hit Chinese theatres soon
An American sci-fi/romance film centering around the first human born on Mars is going to land in Chinese cinemas on October 13th.
The Space Between Us is about a boy named Gardner. His mother, an astronaut, dies soon after giving birth. The boy eventually longs for a chance to go to Earth where he wants to search for clues about his father.
After he finally makes it to Earth, he has a romantic encounter with a street-smart girl named Tulsa. But scientists discover that Gardner's organs can't withstand Earth's atmosphere.
Following its release in America in February, critics said Asa Butterfield was perfectly cast as the sickly boy from Mars.
Directed by Peter Chelsom, it also stars Britt Robertson as Tulsa.
