Behind the Scenes at China's Marine Lab

June 8th is World Oceans Day. In recent years, China has been paying more and more attention to oceanic development and has established its first national marine lab - the Qingdao National Laboratory for Marine Science and Technology. 

The lab hopes to attract leading scientists from all over the world and offers significant incentives, including 5 million yuan in housing support and over 1 million yuan in annual salaries.
