Violent tornado rolls through Heilongjiang

A powerful tornado blasted through Nenjiang county in the city of Heihe, northeast China's Heilongjiang province, on August 21, 2017. 

Spawned by a massive thunderstorm in the region, the twister is said to have done significant damage to a large number of houses, sending swaths of debris flying through the air. The tornado lasted for about 10 minutes, and covered a distance of 10 kilometers. So far no casualties have been reported. Search and rescue work is underway.
