Owner of Manhattan's last gun range

“Didn't every Chinese kid want to be cowboy?” Darren Leung said. He's been the owner of Manhattan's last gun range since 1989. 

At the ‘Westside Rifle Range’, in the unlikely neighborhood of Chelsea, first-timers can take classes and more experienced shooters can pick up an arsenal of different firearms to practice their shot.

Darren Leung says that while supporting 2nd amendment rights allowing the right to bear arms, he believes that learning gun safety would help the public to prevent gun deaths. 

The Gun Control debate has again come to the fore after the shooting at a Congressional baseball practice just outside of Washington DC, with Republican lawmakers targeted by a gunman. And the Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) latest report found that 1,300 children died due to gun-related incidents in 2016.
