Bull fighting in Guizhou

With a total of 999,000 yuan (US $150,371) worth of reward money, the 8th Libo Bull Fighting Culture Festival in Guizhou Province held from August 26-28 has hit the headlines. 

The first prize worth 300,000 yuan (US $45,577) and the title “King of the Bulls” was awarded to the bull that was able to defeat the rest. More than 100 bulls from all over the country joined in the fighting to the delight of an estimated 30,000 spectators.
