Pet owners prepare for Halloween
Halloween isn't just for humans. These pampered pets are also getting in on the action, trying on some of the latest costumes for pets. Dressing up and celebrating the spooky day is big business in the United States, with stores reporting steady growth over the past decade.
The National Retail Federation says 72 percent of adults will celebrate Halloween this year compared to 59 percent in 2007. Of those, 16 percent are expected to dress up their pets. This year the most popular animal costumes include pumpkins, hot dogs, pirates, bumble bees and devils.
