Versova Fish Festival showcases native culture of Mumbai

The three-day Versova Fish Festival in Mumbai attracted tens of thousands of visitors over the weekend. The event was organized by the area's traditional Koli fishing community. The Koli are the original inhabitants of Mumbai. As well as being an opportunity for them to show off their catch, the festival allows the Koli to showcase their culture and traditions, which are under threat in the rapidly developing Indian city.
