Freezing celebration of Chinese New Year

A 'polar bear plunge' has taken place in Anshan, in northeast China's Liaoning Province last Friday.

People in the city have braved temperatures of -15°C and cold wind to take a dip.

"It's so very refreshing. I think it keeps me fit," said Zhao, a polar bear dipper.
