Americans express their opinions on the current tariff dispute
U.S. President Donald Trump signed a memorandum on March 22nd that could see tariffs of up to $60 billion US dollars on imports from China, on top of the recent tariffs on aluminum and steel imports.
These moves have fueled fears that the world's two largest economies are now entering a trade war.
March 23rd, China announced tariffs on imported U.S. products worth roughly $3 billion US dollars.
The Chinese tariffs will be imposed on U.S. fruits, wine, nuts, pork, steel pipes and recycled aluminum.
We hit the streets to ask Americans in China what they think about the dispute.
