The 18th Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit is scheduled for June 9 and 10 in Qingdao, Shandong Province, announced State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday.

Chinese President Xi Jinping will chair the summit and attend some activities. Leaders of SCO member states and observer states, as well as chiefs of some international organizations, will be at the summit.

The coastal city of Qingdao in eastern China will attract attention from all around the world.
