Together in Beijing - Dimash Kudaibergen
Kazakhstan is a founding member of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization. A famous Kazakh singer in China provides insight into the ties between China and Kazakhstan.
Dimash Kudaibergen is a 24-year-old Kazakh singer.
He started his career at a young age, singing and playing the piano at various venues and contests throughout his childhood.
Dimash gained fame in China with his participation in Hunan TV's popular contest "Singer 2017," which was broadcast weekly from January to April in that year.
He competed with established singers, reaching the final and finishing runner-up.
"I find Chinese people very friendly and hospitable, this is the similarity between China and my country I think, we have similar ways to treat guests," Kudaibergen has told China Plus.
The 24-year-old says he has a strong desire to learn Chinese and help strengthen ties between Kazakhstan and China. "I feel very appreciative when I run into my fans who have learned Kazakh to talk with me. This has encouraged me to learn much more about Chinese culture," said Kudaibergen.
