Chinese Market in Caracas
For many, finding signs written in Chinese in the middle of downtown Caracas might sound like an unusual sight.
But not so for the scores of people who go to the Club Social Chino, where every Sunday the city's Asian population gathers to sell traditional Asian foods that can be otherwise hard to find in the middle of South America.
From raw eel to cooked duck, Asians in Venezuela have had an enormous impact on the cuisine in the
country. And, that is no surprise, because Venezuela has the third largest Asian population out of all countries in Latin America.
