Papua New Guinea, an enchanting APEC host

This is Papua New Guinea, the host of the 2018 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Conference. President Xi Jinping is going to visit the country during the APEC period, and attend the Pacific Island Leaders' Meeting as well as the APEC Conference.

PNG is the largest island nation in the South Pacific with beautiful scenes and honest people. It will show itself to the world through APEC. New, Chinese-built landmarks in Port Moresby such as the International Conference Center and Independence Street will be welcoming the leaders from Asia-Pacific region.

As China's largest investment destination and second largest trading partner in the Pacific Island region, PNG formally joining the One Belt, One Road Initiative in June, 2018.
