Panama, China celebrate ties with photos and paintings

A photo exhibition featuring cultural and tourist attractions in Panama has been held at Dayu School in western Beijing.

Themed "Riquezas," which means "Richness and fertility" in Spanish, the event grants visitors a photographic feast of Panama, through the lens of two well-known Panamanian photographers.

Students of the school have also taken the opportunity to present their paintings focusing on the theme of China-Panama friendship.

The event was held ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's first state visit to the Latin American country which forged diplomatic relations with China last year.
