3D Food Printing
3D technology is increasingly grabbing the headlines across the world, and especially in China, where ever more creative applications are being discovered.
It's now possible to "print" food, just as you would paper documents. All the 'chef' has to do, is choose a dish from a digital menu, hit "print", and wait for it to be built by little jets expressing the ingredients.
With the help of 3D printers, people can conjure up all manner of amazing or exotic dishes, especially using chocolate or other molten ingredients. 3D printers can not only lend themselves to food creation, but to the art of food design too.
3D printers won't just make food preparation simpler, but could also help people make healthier food choices.
Once a sci-fi dream, 3D Food 'Replicators' are fast becoming part of our daily lives.
