深圳海关截获日本名贵锦鲤 Smuggled Japanese koi fish seized in Shenzhen

23 smuggled(走私) Japanese koi fish, with the longest one meter(米) in length(长), were seized Tuesday by customs(海关) in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

Another 120 koi fries(鱼苗), about 10-15 centimeters long, were also included in the seizure. Found in an imported(进口) car, this koi fish seizure is the first of its kind by local customs. The market price(价格) of such koi fish range from a thousand yuan to tens of thousands of yuan.
