缅甸有了中国文化中心 China cultural center opened in Myanmar

The China Cultural Center was opened(启用) in Yangon, Myanmar, on last Saturday, aiming at promoting bilateral cooperation(合作) and culture exchange(交换) between(之间) the two counties.

Chinese Deputy Minister for Culture and Tourism Li Jinzao said that the cultural center will cooperate with organizations(组织) from Myanmar's art(艺术), culture(文化) and tourism(旅游) sectors to work for the interest of the local people as well as to strengthen friendship(友谊) between China and Myanmar.

The center could be a great help to promote(促进) mutual(相互的) understandings(理解) between people from both countries as culture exchange brings people closer, Li added.

The center can accommodate musical performances(表演), exhibitions(展览), seminars(研讨会) and training courses(培训课程).

China and Myanmar signed a bilateral agreement to establish cultural centers in the two countries on September 4, 2015.
