2020年中国或将成世界最大主题公园市场 China to become world's largest theme park market by 2020

China is slated to become world's largest theme park(主题公园 zhǔtí gōngyuán) market(市场 shìchǎng) by 2020, when the number(数量 shùliàng) of tourists(游客 yóukè) is expected to exceed(超过 chāoguò) 230 million, according to a fresh report(报道 bàodào) by U.S. engineering firm AECOM.

The number of tourists to Chinese theme parks have seen an average annual growth(增长 zēngzhǎng) of 13 percent in the past decade, and reached(达到 dádào) 190 million in 2017.

The number is expected to keep the double digit growth in the following years, according to the report. The report attributes the rapid growth to Chinese consumers' rising income(收入 shōurù) that sparks(刺激 cìjī) greater demands(需求 xūqiú) on leisure activities(休闲活动 xiūxián huódòng), as well as more convenient(便利的 biànlì de) public transportation systems(公共交通系统 gōnggòng jiāotōng xìtǒng).
