人民币发行70周年纪念币纪念钞来了！New coins and notes issued to mark 70th anniversary of RMB

China's central bank(中国人民银行) on Friday started issuing(发行 fāxíng) a set of commemorative coins(硬币 yìngbì) and notes(钞票 chāopiào) to mark the 70th anniversary of the issuance of Renminbi (RMB,人民币).

The set comprises one gold coin(金币 jīnbì), two silver ones(银币 yínbì) and a new(新的 xīn de) RMB note, according to the People's Bank of China.

The gold coin, weighing 5 grams(克 kè) with a face value(面值 miànzhí) of 80 yuan (11.5USD), has its obverse(正面 zhèngmiàn) featuring China's national emblem(国徽 guóhuī), with its reverse(反面 fǎnmiàn) includes various designs including the former site of the People's Bank of China.

30,000 gold coins will reportedly be issued, with a total of 63,000 silver coins to be issued with the face values of 300 and 5 yuan.

Produced by Shenzhen Guobao Mint, the coins will be distributed by the China Gold Coin Incorporation.

Along with the coins, a commemorative note with a face value of 50 yuan will also be issued starting December 28.
