Smart bench installed in Xi'an

A smart public bench was installed in Xi'an, the capital of Shaanxi Province, on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. It is surrounded by plants, which are watered by a smart controller built into the bench. Members of the public can charge their phones thanks to solar panels built into the bench. And sensors installed in the bench send the city weather information including the humidity, temperature, and PM 2.5 pollution.[Photo: VCG]
