Chagan Lake winter fishing festival kicks off

Chagan Lake is now the only place where the oldest Mongolian fishing method is still practiced. To remember the old winter fishing tradition that originated in prehistoric times, the festival is held at Chagan Lake every winter for about two months, from late December till the Chinese New Year.
