Hello Kitty-themed classroom offers students new study environment

Samelyn Lafuentes, 29, a teacher from the Philippines, spent the last 3 years turning her classroom into a Hello Kitty-themed decoration, in order to encourage students to attend classes. Samelyn works in Cawayan Exterior Elementary School, located in a remote area in Philippines. Students need to walk 8 kilometers to school every morning. [Photos: IC]
