World-wide performing arts promoting vegetarianism

Celebrities joined an opening of a vegetarian restaurant in Los Angeles, California. A selection of vegetables is used for recreating the Hollywood sign. November 25th is International Vegetarian Day, also known as SAK Meatless Day. It remarks the birthday of Sadhu T.L. Vaswani, an Indian educationist who had strongly advocated universal practice of vegetarian living. People around the world are taking different actions to promote vegetarianism. [Photo: VCG]
