Boeing and Aerion to create world's first supersonic business jet

Boeing has announced plans to partner with American aircraft manufacturer Aerion to create the world's first supersonic business jet. Boeing has reportedly vowed to help Aerion bring to market its AS2 jet, which is designed to fly at speeds as high as Mach 1.4 – about 1,600 kilometers an hour.
