深圳海关查获有毒“仙人掌”Peyote were seized in Shenzhen

Customs(海关) officers in Shenzhen(深圳) seized nearly 30 kg of Peyote during April. Planted(种植) mainly in North America, the cactuses contain mescaline which can cause hallucinations(产生幻觉) if consumed(食用).

Authorities have warned(警告) the public(公众) that such kinds of plants(植物) are banned(禁止) from the country.
