大学生5天吃掉20000斤萝卜的暖心故事 Two university canteens served 10000 Kgs of Radish in 5 days

Students of two universities in Guangdong Province have eaten(吃) over 10,000 kilograms of radishes(萝卜) in just 5 days. The reason(原因) behind this story(故事) is touching(感人的).

Typhoon Ewiniar hit parts of areas of Guangdong Province in early June, causing a large distressed inventory of radishes in a village in Conghua District. To help local farmers get rid of(解决) the problem, Guangdong University of Finance & Economics(广东财经大学) and South China Normal University(华南师范大学) lent their hands. They bought(购买) more than 11,000 kilograms of radishes to serve at university campus canteens(餐厅). Canteen chefs(厨师) cooked(烹调) many different kinds of radish dishes(菜肴), including radish cake, stewed(炖) radish with beef and steamed(蒸) radishes, which were welcomed by students.
