一组婚纱照引网友泪奔 Wedding photos with widowed mother melted hearts across China

A girl posing with her widowed mother for wedding photos(婚纱照 hūnshā zhào) she never had has melted hearts across the country, a local newspaper in central China's Hubei province reported on Oct. 26.

In the pictures, the 63-year-old mother, an illiterate street cleaner(环卫工 huánwèi gōng), wore a white wedding dress(婚纱 hūnshā) and broke down in tears(泪水 lèishuǐ) when her daughter handed(递 dì) her a bouquet of flowers(花 huā).

"Every woman wants the chance(机会 jīhuì) to wear a beautiful wedding dress. My mother never had the chance, so I decided to make it happen for her," said the 28-year-old daughter with the pseudonym Ma Er, from Shiyan in central China's Hubei province.

Ma Er said her father died 21 years ago and was never able to provide her mother with a wedding picture.

"My mother worked very hard to raise(养育 yǎngyù) my brother and I," said the woman, adding that now she is grown up she can help her mother more.

The wedding pictures have touched(感动 gǎndòng) the hearts of netizens; many writing "These are the most beautiful wedding photos I've ever seen." Others sent their best wishes to the mother and daughter.
