北京一小学20名学生遇袭受伤 Furious school janitor attacks 20 students in Beijing

At least 20 children were injured(受伤 shòushāng), three in critical condition, after a man attacked(袭击 xíjí) students in an elementary school(小学 xiǎoxué) in central Beijing's Xicheng District on Tuesday, according to local authorities.

All victims(受害者 shòuhài zhě) have been taken to hospital(医院 yīyuàn), and the attacker(袭击者 xíjí zhě) has been arrested(逮捕 dàibǔ).

Head of Beijing's Xicheng District Wang Shaofeng apologized(道歉 dàoqiàn) to the students(学生 xuésheng) and their parents(父母 fùmǔ) for Tuesday's attack which left 20 students injured.

Wang told reporters that a total of 20 students are being treated(治疗 zhìliáo) at two hospitals but none of them have sustained life-threatening injuries.
