两会代表委员齐聚北京 Lawmakers, political advisors gather for annual sessions

Thousands of national lawmakers and political advisors are gathering(聚集) in Beijing for the annual "two sessions(两会)," a key event(活动) in China's political(政治) calendar.

China's top political advisory body started(开始) its annual(年度) session(会议) Sunday afternoon in Beijing.

And the second sessions of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) will convene on Tuesday, March 5. The National People's Congress (NPC) is China's top legislature.
