Four giant pandas are spending their first winter in the northeastern city, which is extremely cold in winter. Staff members of the zoo have moved the pandas' activity area into a room with air-conditioning, and bamboo shoots from the panda's hometown in Sichuan have been flown in to help them adapt to their new environment.
