The first bridge built in the Sichuan-Tibet region nears completion

Known as the first bridge to have been constructed in the Sichuan-Tibet region, the Xingkangte Bridge on the Ya’an-Kangding Highway is under construction on January 5, 2018. The long-span steel truss beams of the bridge will shortly be joined. The 1,411 meters Xingkangte Bridge is expected to open in August of this year.[Photo: VCG]
