Domestic heavy equipment ushers in high-tech 2018 for China

China's second homemade manned submersible Shenhai Yongshi, or "deep sea warrior," returns to port in Sanya, Hainan Province on October 3, 2017, after completing its deep-sea test in the South China Sea. The Shenhai Yongshi can reach a depth of 4,500 meters and is able to locate an item with a diameter of less than 50 centimeters some 3,500 meters underwater with an advanced control system.
