A 138-meter long glass bridge opens to the public in Luoyang, in the Chinese province of Henan on February 7, 2018. The 12 million yuan (1.9 million U.S. dollar) bridge is said to contain over 30 pieces of glass that can each carry a weight of 2,000 kilograms. The bridge has a special trick that gives visitors a fright: when they walk on special glass panels the glass looks like it's shattering, a special effect accompanied by the sound of glass breaking.
