Highway chaos as cars stranded in heavy fog in Hainan

Hainan is a popular destination for Chinese tourists during the winter holidays, thanks to its tropical climate. But visitors had some tough luck this week, as a heavy fog descended over the island. On Wednesday, a traffic jam developed at Haikou Xiuying Port after ferry services were disrupted.
