West Guangdong's Jiangmen-Zhanjiang Railway opens

The Jiangmen-Zhanjiang Railway, a new high-speed railway line in western Guangdong Province officially opens on July 1, 2018. The 357-km line with 13 stations is an important part of China's Coastal Express Rail Passage, and the trains on the line can travel at 200 km/h. After it goes into operation, it will take roughly three hours to get to Zhanjiang from Guangzhou, five hours less than before. [Photo: China Plus]
