Guqin performance in Beijing

Guqin fans dressed up in traditional Han clothing put on a show at Guozijian Museum in Beijing on Saturday, marking the opening of the Beijing Guqin Culture Exhibition. Guqin, a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instrument, has a history dating back thousands of years. In 2003, guqin music became one of the Masterpieces of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity through UNESCO. [Photo: IC]
