Tightrope performance held above Taishou Lake in Chongqing

Five performance artists put on a tightrope show above Taishou Lake in Chongqing on Friday, September 14, 2018. A temporary floating platform was built on the lake to provide the stage for the two-day event, which saw the rope walkers take on the challenge of a 10-meter-long and 5-centimeter-thick rope. When boats passed by, the platform bobbed up and down on the water. But the performers held their nerve and got through the show with much applause. [Photo:VCG]
