Every year, several days before Mid-Autumn Festival, zookeepers across China feed the animals with special "mooncakes" to celebrate the holiday. The treat is often served with ingredients like carrots, nuts, grass and fruits. Chinese people traditionally eat mooncakes that are made with sweet red beans or lotus-seed paste filling. The Festival falls on September 24 this year. [Photo: VCG]
