Farmers in Weijia Village reap profits from sweet potato harvest

Recently picked sweet potatoes at the agricultural cooperative in Weijia Village, Shandong Province on Monday, November 26, 2018. Sweet potato has long been a staple product of Weijia Village's agriculture industry. But it wasn't an especially valuable cash crop until 39-year-old farmer Wang Yan formed a cooperative to help local farmers to expand their market.
