E-commerce helps Hubei farmers sell pomelo

Xuanen County in Hubei Province is well-known for its beautiful scenery and abundant agricultural products, including the white pomelo. Nearly 100,000 hectares of pomelo are grown in the county.

To help with the sale of the fruit, authorities in Zhejiang Province and Xuanen County launched an agreement in 2017. Through it, officials in Hangzhou, Zhejiang assist Hubei pomelo farmers in selling the products through e-commercial platforms, helping increase local incomes.
