Photo taken on Dec. 23, 2018 shows a construction site on the Lhasa-Nyingchi section of the Sichuan-Tibet Railway in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. The Sichuan-Tibet Railway will be the second rail connection into the "roof of the world" after the Qinghai-Tibet Railway. The Lhasa-Nyingchi section is the main east-west section running through Tibet. The overall project is worth over 100 billion yuan. Once completed, the line will run over 1,600 kilometers, connecting Sichuan's capital, Chengdu, with Tibet's regional capital, Lhasa. The so-called 'chuanzang' line is expected to be complete sometime in 2025. [Photo: Xinhua]
