'Inclined' parking lot debuts in Chongqing

A photo taken on January 7, 2019, shows a local resident parking his car in an inclined position at a parking lot in Chongqing Municipality. With a tilted parking solution, the garage reportedly helps fit about two cars into one conventional parking space, thus expanding its previous 24 spots to 40. Such a parking rack is generally tilted from 28 to 32 degrees, adjustable according to different height of garages, and is equipped with charging pillars and smart sensors for the convenience of drivers.[Photo: IC]
