Models wearing Qipao participate in a show on an ancient cultural street of Hozhou, Anhui Province, Southeast China on February 12, 2019. Qipao is a traditional Chinese dress with a high collar and high slit on the side and is usually made of silk or cotton. Qipao was originally the school uniform of all-girl school in Shanghai. It was popularized by Chinese socialites and upper-class women in the 1920s and 1930s. And now it is an everyday wear, a popular work wear for many Chinese airlines as well as a formal dress for events like weddings. [Photo: VCG]
