China's first bullet train with rearrangeable compartments ready to be rolled off factory floor

China's first bullet train that allows for the compartments to be rearranged is ready to be rolled off the factory floor. The train completed over 60 in-plant tests before it was declared ready for the tracks on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019. The train is an upgrade of existing one which has 8 or 16 fixed compartments.
