Blue burning volcano captured in Indonesia

Blue lava from the Kawah Ijen volcano illuminated the night sky in East Java, Indonesia. The high quantity of sulfur gas being released by Kawah Ijen is suspected to be the reason for the lava's color change. [Photo: IC]
