Gordon Lowe, 67,is a retired accountant who bought some zucchini seeds from the internet, planted them, but forgot about them. After six months of no care or attention, Lowe was stunned when he returned to his garden to find one of the zucchinis he planted and forgot about swelled to an enormous, award-winning 49 pounds.The father of three from Portsmouth, England was especially shocked as it was the first he had ever grown and admitted it "was basically a mistake."
