Real-life flying saucer by Romanian inventors

An undated photo shows a real-life flying saucer that could reach America from Europe in one hour at supersonic speeds, according to its Romanian developers. They claimed the ADIFO (All Direction Flying Object) is the first vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft in the world able to fly in all directions. Low speeds allow the craft to operate like a drone, but in-built jets would see it achieve supersonic speeds efficiently thanks to the wing-shaped fuselage. [Photo: IC]
