A Black Rhino named Layla became the first of her kind to receive a CT scan to fix her nasal passages at the Chicago Zoological Society. Layla had tissue building up in her nasal cavity making it difficult to breathe. After a previous failed surgery, veterinarians and specialists plan to try inserting a titanium tube that they hope will solve Layla’s problem. [Photo: VCG]
