Scenery of a small village in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture

Dasa Village is located in the city of Hezuo in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province. The village features beautiful scenery and Tibetan customs. Many of the local villagers earn a living from agriculture and animal husbandry, but some choose to work in urban areas. The city’s dairy enterprise also provides an employment opportunity for them.

To help villagers improve their lives and to increase their income, the government has constructed or upgraded roads and infrastructures, including a playground and exercising facility. There is also a kindergarten and a primary school in the village -- the latter of which provides a free breakfast to its students every day.
